About Rene Reiner

With over a decade of experience in real estate and more than 30 years of deep-rooted connection to the Roanoke Valley, Rene Reiner brings a unique blend of global perspective and local expertise to every transaction. As Principal Broker and founder of Reiner Realty, Rene is known not only for his market insight and strategic approach, but also for his genuine passion for helping people navigate life’s big transitions—especially seniors looking to downsize with confidence and dignity. Born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland, Rene first came to Roanoke as an exchange student at William Byrd High School and has proudly called the valley home ever since. After earning his MBA from Wake Forest and building a successful career in medical sales and management, Rene transitioned into real estate—where he now channels his drive, discipline, and empathy to serve every client with excellence. Rene's approach to real estate is personal. Whether he's guiding a senior couple through the emotional process of leaving a long-time home or handing the keys to a first-time buyer who never thought homeownership was possible, Rene thrives on creating meaningful relationships and celebrating life's big milestones. His commitment to integrity, responsiveness, and results has earned him the trust of clients across the Roanoke Valley and beyond. Outside of work, Rene enjoys skiing, spending time at Smith Mountain Lake, exploring global cuisine, and traveling with his wife Jennifer and their 9-year-old son Piers. If you're looking for a Realtor who combines business acumen, heartfelt service, and a true understanding of what home really means—Rene Reiner is ready to help you take the next step.
